Hi! I'm Elena,

a Canadian-American artist, designer, and entrepreneur based in Berlin. Recently, I made a strategic move by selling my contemporary art business and transitioning into creative production, marketing, and design—a decision that may have turned some heads.

My journey has been marked by its unconventional twists and turns. Over the past decade, I've amassed a wealth of experiences that could fill volumes. From entering Berlin's art scene in 2015 to the founding of not one but two successful art businesses (including one launched mere months before the pandemic), my ventures have taken me on an exciting but sinuous path. Along the way, I've participated in international exhibitions and art fairs, been featured positively in numerous press reviews, and hosted dozens of art-related events, all leading to the expansion of my contemporary art gallery and the foundation of my non-profit in 2019.

I’ve also worked on brand campaigns and designed countless print layouts, catalogs, assets for web, branding projects, etc. I’ve led creative and production teams, produced events, oversaw a major renovation project, and developed strategies for marketing. When you build your own company, the list of hats you wear goes on. After being approached out of the blue by an old professional acquaintance, I sold one of my businesses at the start of 2024 which has opened me up for an exciting new challenge.

You won’t find just one thing in my portfolio, but numerous curatorial projects, schpeals about my businesses, events I’ve produced, content from the campaigns I’ve worked on, texts I’ve written, and a whole lot more. It's an extensive showcase, thoughtfully curated for your exploration. If you would like a tailored selection, I'm at your disposal.

In terms of artistic expression, my style leans towards minimalism with a deep-seated interest in conceptual exploration, particularly concerning our evolving interactions with technology. Rooted in contemporary art discourse and the rich tapestry of subcultures, my aesthetic is both nuanced and distinctive.

TLDR: As an artist at my core, I'm a driven, resourceful creative force, undeterred by challenges and unwavering in my commitment to new, fresh ideas and imagery. While I may not have all the answers, I approach each project with confidence, harnessing creativity and my community to craft compelling visual narratives.
